Good evening everyone! Aahhh what a relaxing day! No work for me today! and weather was gloomy so I just stayed in drank coffee all day and made a new card to play along with a couple of challenges! I MUST admit that the hardest part about making a card for me is the layout of my card.. A great paper friend of mine Cheryl ( Hi Cheryl ! ) recommended me to a VERY inspiring blog by Amy Sheffer called
pickled paper designs If you haven't seen her site yet, you must check it out!
today I am entering my card into 2 differant challenges:
color throw down the challenge is to use the following colors:
and I'm also entering my card in to the
Mojo Monday sketch challenge
using a sketch layout was a TON of help for me! maybe after following a few sketch challenges I'll get better at my layouts! I also had a Ton if inspiration this week from my new paper friend Marilyn ( Hi Marilyn! ) and from a blog called
sending you a little smile these ladies do a lot of multiple stamping of the image and layering to make the image 3D! here is my take on it!!
Today I used a stamp from a company called Elzybells, which I'm sad to say is no longer opened. I used my Copics to color my image and Tim Holtz distress ink in
Vintage photo to distress my edges. And of course i couldn't forget my diamond glaze and yellow stickles!
