Whimsy Birthday card
Hello ladies! hows everyone doing today? Is everyone holdin' up with their new year resolutions? or have you cheated? be honest now... haha jk
Today I would like to share with you my card for Whimsy's challenge for the week which is to make a birthday card! The image I used today is called Raggedy boy and girl set by Kathryn she has some cute digi stamps and you can find them here. I like this set because you can use this cuties together or separately to make either a boy or girl card.
Today I have made a tri-fold card (my first attempt BTW!) I used my cupcake embossing folder for some texture and also embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment in the middle with some TH core papers and sanded to show the sentiment, I just LOVE this core papers. For the balloons inside I just used some balloon brads and added some string likes with my thin markers.

I am a Whimsy Digi girl!
Good morning everyone! I am so excited today! I get to post my very first card as a Whimsy digital DT!! I still can't believe I am a part of a DT! whoo hoo.
Today I am using a brand new January release image, there is so many cute ones! you gotta go check them out! Today Whimsy is hosting a blog hop to win some free goodies, so take a few minutes to leave comments on all the girls cards and hopefully you'll be the big winner!!
So here he is! I chose this little guys because I thought he would be great practice for me to make a boy card.! I pretty happy with how he turned out! I made a little sidewalk and some grass to make it looks like he was walking down the street in the rain :)
